The Real Estate PowerTool – A No Brainer

In today’s real estate market, staying ahead of current technology can present a challenge. But for the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS® (GGAR) it’s a “no-brainer,” thanks to CRS’s Real Estate PowerTool.

“The important thing to me,” comments GGAR CEO Nick Sabatine “is that my members who use the program love it.” Joe Pitts, GGAR’s V.P. of MLS and Information Systems, agrees, noting GGAR members’ "very good response to CRS" because "the Real Estate PowerTool provides leading-edge technology.” He should know. Since the 1980s, he has observed an evolution in how realtors access property information—from courthouse visits, to “dumb terminals,” to PCs, to Internet systems. “Now,” says Pitts, “everything is Web-based.”

"The Real Estate PowerTool... is light years ahead."

With advances, new products have been developed—not all equally helpful. “For years, we used a tax-based system with only basic information. We needed more data, more tools, more search capability, and wider coverage—especially with GGAR’s membership spreading across 11 counties. After researching, we asked CRS for an in-office demo. Our leadership was very impressed by the CRS capabilities.” From there, it was a done deal.

GGAR launched CRS in 2005, integrating it with Fidelity’s MLS system. This allows immediate access to an MLS listed property’s public records. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, especially with the recently-added Real Estate PowerTool as well as CRS’ onsite training. Pitts notes that members are “wide-eyed” at the PowerTool’s ease and speed. “It’s a real time saver,” agrees Sabatine. So much so that GGAR recently signed a 3-year extension, ensuring that members will remain well-ahead of the technology learning curve.

"The Real Estate PowerTool," affirms Pitts, "is light years ahead." Which means GGAR members will be, too. Now, that's a no-brainer!
